snow

I came to school late today again and it snowed! it snowed at my haus there
and i was so delighted i took some pics wif my hp camera so unfortunately i cant post em up.
But God was telling me something else.Reminding me that even though i ran away from Him today. He still wanted to bless me with the sight of snow. The pure white snow that fell upon the darkened streets. It lit and beautified the dark and cold environment. Even though the snow was cold. Even though the hearts were hardened. He did not give me up.I must repent and seek His face. Remembering the grace that He has given me.

I wonder... do the cold hearts around me make me colder? i pray my fire you lit will burn brighter and warm them.
Love me.

Mannheim boring...

sian man this place. Weekends their entertainment is so limited here so i stay indoors.

Last Sat i visited Konstance a place near swiss boarder. Did some shopping wif augustine(aug) and malcom(mal). We also had 2 of malcom's friends come along too. The were Isai, an iranian fella and nima, a mexican.
However the both of them were more interested in sightseeing in Konstance. So we went our seperate ways. I shopped with aug n mal. They went mad. Mal bought over 150euros worth of clothings and aug spent around 90 euros but aug said he dint spend enuff coz he could'nt find his size.
They were telling me how crazy the swiss shopped in Konstance coz of the high taxes in germany(de/deutche). Rem the VAT tax i was saying 19%? Since the swiss were not part of EU. Once they leave the EU wif their items they can use the tax refund form they get from the shops in Konstance and get the 19% back! thats as gd as 19% off! No wonder they love to shop there so much. But at the same time, the owners jack up their prices a little at Konstance compared to the rest of de. Then again the clothings were the same price throughout de; only the food and daily neccesities were more expensive. They shopped at Zara, H&M and other shops. I bought a Zara shirt at S$66.70! Cheap rite compared to sg? Next time want branded stuff. Maybe can ask me to buy wo! Its cheaper here=d.
I also had a taste of swiss meat as i crossed the boarder. It was so good!I had fried pork chop with a fresh garden salad, its called Salat here. Compared to the salty and tough meat we had to eat at the school "Mensa" canteen. I claimed back 6.50 euros! And I'll collect my 6 euros coz i can claim for my Birkänstork!
Now im going to eat some nice jap food in town. Choos(byee)

In Germany II

yoh fellas!

I have 2 seniors aiding me here.
One is malcom an ex ngee ann student who also has Certificate of Merit for his poly cert!
Another is Augustine =d ugrade working on his Master of Economics here
Both are friendly and have been helpful to making my stay here more comfortable.
Augustine is like a high-class sociocrate but a little different as he is friendly and approachable. He always soughts after high class stuff and tries to persuade me and the click to buy Zara or some other high class goods.
He loves to go to switzerland cos its like tokyo and the food there is 3 times better than German food. He just loves the organic food that they have and really hates Germany prolly coz he has been treated badly by the govt. His favourite method of getting back at the govt is to buy stuff and get them tax freed coz the tax at germany is 19%!!!! very very high!
Malcom on the other hand i don't know him that well yet but i know he hates getting scolded by germans so i figure he's also some1 takes 'face' very seriously=d

Im here in germany =d i've begun working in the university liao and im fitting in well.
I'm still missing you guys from church and the friends esp my cell grp and eg grp!
Currently im at sch blogging and slacking coz my appointment wif the Prof Götzmann is over and i'll be free over the weekend=D happy and free for now. Well so far thing have been going well.
I've been to Swiss over the weekend and its a beautiful place, prolly has alot more but i could'nt travel too far coz i had to meet the prof. Mannheim, is a small town. Wif barely over 300k people... people here are generally "dao" coz their pay is low and their unemployment rate is high. Transportation is also insanely expensive So germany is not that much of a great place.
As for the pictures i'll post them up asap coz not i dun have internet connection at my 'pension'=d sorry gotta make u guys wait. And i'll be moving into my new hostel tml! Yay can finally save money buy eating home and cooking there. Then, i'll have a fixed address and doing things can be more flexible!
Okie now we're gonna go shopping for groceries and then head for augustine's hse for dinner=d save money again! haha okie gtg next time i'll post up pic if i can and teach u peeps some German i learnt too k?
Choos(byee=)
