so sorry guys if u've checked this blog and found it without news....
been really busy wif school cca...
okie i'll do my testimony for mt 1st k? as promised.
It was A TOTOALLY AWESOME experience.
Anyone who missed out on it really missed out on alot in life man.
For those who missed my testimony during service about 1 mth ago...
well this is sorta like a more comprehensive one.
the first days were a little slack coz we landed at night and dint do much ministry work... so we rested and continued to be prayerful to allow God to show us more coz what?!COZ WE"RE HUNGRY! Hungry for souls that is!
oh i havent mentioned the 1st day at church.
They were so hungry lar!
the thai church ppl. Adults man even in their like 60's so active and passionate in worshiping God. Jumping and praising! reminded me of YI. heh
It was really nice to see them so in love with God, ppl so thankful. I know God really blessed them despite having little compared to back in sg. We here in sg ppl are wining over little stuff like bad food and untasty water... should bring you into the forest and over to live in the refugee camps to see how truely blessed you've been by God...
Really thank God for air-con and all the food we can expect on our table daily... thats why we say our table grace!
day 2 was more travelling to the location... from Khong Kean to Hmong village(refugee camp)
we took about 5 hours to travel near the refugee camp... onli to realise tt it wazzent open for us to go in... But God taught us a lesson of patience and of timing.
Coz God prepared us that night with a night rally and God moved among us. Showing us tt its not according to us that ppl come to know Him but really just Him alone...
early tt night few ppl came even though it was about time.
until we prayed and continued to ask God... He showed up! ppl came and God saved=D
See... not up to us to draw ppl... even though we did a whole evening of asking and inviting ppl to come... unless God shows up! similarly keep asking God to draw your family, your friends and ppl to come to know Him! Matt 7:7... it doesnt say ask once or twice den give up... but to keep asking and be hopeful! Believing tt He will give unto you, lives surrendered to Christ!
Oh yea sean low actually heard God telling Him this! not today...
Day 3 came!
Sean low heard God said yes today!
and God allowed us to enter!! so amazing to hear God's voice! just tt we need to believe Him coz so many times we dont...
keep believing and it will come to pass... Just look at abraham! till his death he did not see... but tt was how israel came about! being faithful and hopeful will deliver results if it comes from God!
We entered and did prayerwalking... we also prepared for night rally; telling ppl to come for it.
PPl came, ppl got saved, ppl got healed.
so many miracles... i'll mention some.
One dude. 1/2 blind, 1/2 deaf, lame... Totally healed=God is awesome; 2nd old lady,
shoulders and arms aching... prayed 4 her until she said stop praying for me!( she was laoian so communication a little breakdown hehe) and we got little kids to translate for us! God is amazing. 3rd dude, bowed arms, hurting... totally cannot move--after prayer--> can move a little, no more pain. but he still needs prayer coz he need to build up muscles to move freely and to believe tt he can be totally healed... God is so GREAT!not enuff to describe.
Day 4... we taught in schools and played wif em!
Den wanping said... 5mins left! quickly! if u havent shared hurry!
Den we panic! oh no! den we shared the gospel! and den all the kids raised their hands and AC!
so awesome man when God works even among kids!
after the school visit within the camp. we went out to the village again... play wif kids and had a small soccer shootout... whoever of our yi guys cannot stop a ball... we "rugby hammer" him and carry him out and wait for the next better player hehe... so fun to carry the dudes off and see kids laugh so happily... even played
man the little kids ran fast... i ran till i almost fell and had no breath LAR LOL...
Later, we had some visitation and particularly... one house had this lady with a cast over her arm... she had just fell today we heard... we prayed for her and she accepted Christ! she felt no more pain but couldnt move too much still... but we believeing tt God will heal her completely! And we believe she'll pray daily!
and with that... we ended out hmong village/ ref camp journey and went back to khong kean.
Day 5
we went to more school to see kids.
Very naughty kids... but still believe tt God can and will change their hearts!
At night, we did a night rally at some rich town village. The ppl were really rich there man! like all living in terrace and bungalows lar! Den got desktop and flatsceen tv's more than 1 car some of em! one dude even had a collection of motorbikes...
But main problem was this male fertility statue at village centre...
We prayed like mad and did a rally there!It was great to see God move the people's hearts as we gave our best for this last night of ministry! The spirit was so strong tt we even had praise and worship after that in tt village centre!
During dinner, rebecca, weiwei and ah chan noo prayed for this old lady who was lame! and she was completely healed! so awesome!
well it was really an awesome trip so see with my own eyes God's work in motion and to experience it was even better! Hope all of you will be inspired to share fearlessly the gospel and not to be ashamed of Christ knowing that your God is real! Gn nite!
